This is the site of the 17th Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, the spiritual head of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The Karmapa was the first incarnate lama (tulku) in Tibet. Mipham Chokyi Lodro has been recognized by the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpei Dorje as the 14th Shamarpa reincarnation. The project of this site is to become a platform on which all the Kagyu centres can be gathered. It is a space where the different sanghas can be present with their own identity and having all the same heart : Gyalwa Karmapa.
